DANCE
Students who learn to dance are considered more self-motivated, disciplined and focused. They are more expressive in their communication of emotions, thoughts and feelings. We, at GD Goenka Public School, Panipat teach both Indian as well as western dance forms to our students. The school`s dance teacher has been trained in various dance forms including hip-hop, classical, contemporary, Bollywood, house, etc.Our teacher provides the best training to our students by giving them the necessary expertise and technique required in the particular dance form and preparing them for future competitions.
The exposure and technique achieved by our students, the long practicing hours and the amount of hard work with the zeal is unparalleled. Our students perform and showcase their dance regularly on different occasions and assemblies conducted in the school, which eventually helps them improve. Dancing is truly a refreshing way to fuse school schedules with creativity and a commitment to perfection.
MUSIC ( VOCAL AND INSTRUMENTAL)
Indian and Western Music, both vocal and instrumental are offered to the students at GD Goenka Public School, Panipat. While vocal music offers a wide creative landscape for students to paint their feelings and emotions, instrumental music strengthens their fingers and also improves coordination of the mind and body. Memory is enhanced as songs and notations are learnt. The school`s music teacher is trained in both classical as well as western music and also knows how to play different music instruments. The teacher prepares our students for various festivals and celebrations that take on new meanings as songs pertaining to a particular festival are taught and performed in special morning assemblies at our school.
While popular songs and melodies are taught to increase student interest, classical training in music is also imparted and it has been keenly observed that students respond very favourably to classical training. Festivals and presentations held from time to time in the school are occasions to showcase budding talent in the school. The students also regularly take part in several inter-school events. Undoubtedly, the pursuit of such creative activities adds another meaningful dimension to school life.
