SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
GD Goenka Public school, Panipat believes in promoting exceptional and highly motivated students. With this aim in mind we offer scholarships to students who have consistently demonstrated outstanding merit and achievement in the areas of academics, sports or co-curricular related fields. Scholarships are awarded based on merit cum need and are available to students in Grades 9 and 11 for a two-year academic period. The scholarships are reviewed annually and continuance in second year is contingent to continued meritorious performance of the awardee. The scholarships may cover 25% or 50% of the annual composite school fee, depending on the assessed merit cum need of the applicant.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERION
· Academics
For students who have shown a sustained level of outstanding academic achievement. To be eligible to apply, students applying to a particular grade must meet the following ‘Minimum Eligibility Criterion’ in the preceding grade:
Curriculum | Performance |
CBSE | Achievement grade that translates into a CGPA of 9.6 and above |
ICSE | 92% and above |
Any other Curriculum | Equivalent to the grading system above for which Goenka school shall create a matrix |
- Sports & Co-Curricular
For outstanding and gifted students who have consistently shown a remarkable level of merit and achievement at national and or international level events. Students applying in this category are required to submit a well compiled portfolio of their achievements along with recommendation letters from experts in respective field/s.
Note:
The criterion mentioned above merely defines the ‘eligibility’ for applying for a Scholarship. Scholarships are limited in number and the decision of awarding a scholarship will be based on a series of processes, which may include additional assessment criterion. Scholarships are offered as a privilege and not as a right. School management’s decision regarding the same shall be final.
